The Silver Case Is Getting A PlayStation 4 Port [VIDEO]

Suda51‘s game doesn’t avoid Sony‘s console.

The Silver Case originally launched in 1999 on the PlayStation, exclusively in Japan. Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture updated the game recently. The PC version launched on October 6, and it’s going to return to „home soil” in early 2017 in both digital and physical format.

The Silver Case is a weird mixture: it both tries to be an adventure game and a visual novel, making our task to find the killer in the city not deep enough to an extent. If you think this description is weird, we don’t judge you, it is, and the PC version isn’t that great, either, but at least an English version is in the works.

Suda51 previously worked on games, such as Killer7, No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned, Lollipop Chainsaw, and he’s currently working on the PS4-exclusive brawler Let It Die.

An obscure game from the past – hopefully, the PS4 iteration will be different from the PC port.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
