The New Media Molecule Game Will Not Get A Beta This Year

We will have to keep on „dreaming” next year.

Media Molecule, the developers behind LittleBigPlanet, have been working on Dreams, a new PlayStation 4-exclusive for a while. However, as studio director Siobhan Reddy says in a blog post, „We are sorry for being a bit quiet of late and for disappointing people not being at PlayStation Experience, but sometimes you have to just shut the doors, take the phone off the hook and hunker down and that’s exactly what we have been doing! […] Rather than cutting corners we are staying true to our vision that Dreams isn’t just about drawing, or sculpting, but also game creation, storytelling, animation, music, and sound, all rolled into one whole beautiful PlayStation game.”

It sounds like Media Molecule has tried to do something too big for their standard, but perhaps the beta – coming sometime in 2017 – might prove us wrong.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
