Will The Nintendo Switch’s Online Services Cost Less Than Its Rivals’?

New Nintendo news, but perhaps this time, they are in the big N’s favor.

Tatsumi Kimishima, the president of Nintendo, has given an interview to Nikkei, and he said that the annual cost of the online services of the Switch could potentially be between two to three thousand Japanese yen, which could cap the price at around 30 dollars. That’s cheaper than the PlayStation Plus and the Xbox Live Gold.

Kimishima also talked about the possibilities of VR. He said that Nintendo is currently experimenting with the technology, and if they can make the experience comfortable for several hours, they will go further. Nintendo‘s president also revealed that over 70 publishers are working on over 100 titles for the Switch.

However, how many of these will be memorable? We’ll find out about that later; the Switch will launch on March 3.
