Hideo Kojima Has Given Up On A Genre

Kojima told IGN at RTX Sydney that he doesn’t want to make any more horror games, as he gets scared easily. The same happens to Alfred Hitchcock and Steven Spielberg, too. „Because I scare easily, it’s easy for me to do something that is scary because I understand what is scary,” Kojima says.

„But while in that process, constantly imagining, like, terrifying situations, so it ends up giving me bad dreams, that’s the reason why I don’t want to make a horror game,” he added. He says that showing something unusual first can make the players feel nervous, and if there’s something that lacks information, it can make them go uncomfortable.

We can’t wait to see what he will end up with in Death Stranding.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
