The Forever Winter: Post-Apocalyptic PvEvE in Action [VIDEO]

Fun Dog Studios (made up of veterans of Horizon: Zero Dawn, DOOM Eternal, Killzone, Hawken, The Witcher 3 and Mass Effect) has finally revealed its first game in action.

A team-based, post-apocalyptic, tactical, cooperative looter-shooter with PvEvE conflict: The Forever Winter is best described as a game where many opposing factions battle it out. Up to four players per team can play together to defeat (or sneak past) powerful opponents in order to grab the resources of a declining Earth as quickly as possible and then escape to a safe area. Players will upgrade their weapons over multiple playthroughs to take on larger opponents.

Miles Williams, CEO and creative director at Fun Dog Studios, said: “Our work on The Forever Winter began with a simple truth: war is hell. There’s a time and a place for the power fantasy of being a super soldier, but frankly, it’s been done before. With The Forever Winter, we wanted to redefine victory as survival – to ensure that every battle is fought hard and every defeat is a lesson learned. You’ll be rewarded for fighting smarter, not harder, and for maintaining situational awareness in a world we designed to be as unforgiving as it is unforgettable. While your power will grow, you’ll always be a mouse in a maze, and you’ll need to work together to survive.”

She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
