Styx: Shards Of Darkness: The Creation Of The Thief Goblin [VIDEO]

Behind the scenes with Cyanide.

The developers now talk about how Styx‘s character was born. He, like all other creations, first came to mind as a simple thought, but as time passed by, he ended up taking a form, resulting in the previous Styx game (which wasn’t bad).

Cyanide promised to make Shards of Darkness better in everything than its predecessor, including some fourth wall breaking humor, where the green goblin ends up even insulting the developers on top of the players. Of course, humor is just part of the gameplay – you’ll mainly rely on Styx‘s acrobatic skills and the stealth mastery, as he’s severely lacking in brute force. Attacking your enemies directly will just result in that good old Game Over screen.

Styx: Shards of Darkness will launch on March 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
