Nintendo Switch And A Wrestler? That Sounds About Right

Nintendo chose an unexpected person to promote the upcoming Switch.

The big N announced that they are going to advertise the handheld/console hybrid (which is set to launch on March 3) with none other than WWE star John Cena. What the company does is that they will pull up a living room from scratch around a few locations in the United States so that a few lucky people can experience the Switch.

Here are the locations:

The Desert – Invite only
Feb. 23, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. PT
Blue Cloud Movie Ranch
20019 Blue Cloud Rd.
Santa Clarita, CA 91390

Aspen – Open to the public
Feb. 27, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. MT
Snowmass Village
45 Village Square
Snowmass Village, CO 81615

New York – Open to the public
March 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. ET
Flatiron Plaza
Broadway between 23rd and 24th St.
New York, NY 10010

Cena will be participating in the first event, where a few lucky invitees (along with a few YouTubers – the hype factor is going to hit red alert) can play along with the wrestler.

Seeing how WWE also showed up in cartoons, we don’t feel surprised that much, to be honest…
