Although Bioware has canned the planned multiplayer beta, we learned more about Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s multiplayer element.
Let’s start with the bad news: Fernando Melo, the game’s producer, has confirmed in response to a fan question on Twitter that Andromeda will have a peer-to-peer multiplayer. We’ll be able to customize our character’s armor and its color, but the face will be locked! All races’ female characters will be playable in Bioware’s game.
Similarly to Mass Effect 3, players can achieve packs that contain items by either playing the game or spending real money on them. Regarding XP, DualShockers writes that each player will put experience points into one pool, but at the end of the match, every player will get all the XP that the team gathered.
We end the article with a spoiler video: thanks to IGN First, you can check out game’s first thirteen minutes in 4K resolution – only watch it if you don’t care about getting spoiled! The game is out on March 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
