The Surge: A Box Art, a Release Date and a New Trailer! [VIDEO]

Deck 13 also revealed a new GCI trailer for the upcoming, futuristic Dark Souls-clone, The Surge.

It’s weird that Focus Home Interactive, the publisher still keeps promoting this action-RPG with mostly CGI trailers, even though the release date has been confirmed to be May 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, unless The Surge gets pushed back. In the new video, Warren, the protagonist, keeps going deeper and deeper into CREO, and to survive, he will have to utilize the enemies’ body parts as well to make his exoskeleton stronger than it would be in its original form.

Unsurprisingly, there are pre-ordering bonuses, too: with two implants, you can find secrets easily, as well as cause bigger physical damage, too. There will also be a new CREO exoskeleton as well. The publisher revealed the box art, which could be better if the game’s logo was a little smaller than what we see now.
