A Marvel MMO Is Coming To Consoles [VIDEO]

Marvel Heroes Omega is coming shortly on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The announcement came on the PlayStation Blog, where we learned that Marvel Heroes Omega would be a bit different from 2013’s original Marvel Heroes that launched on PC and Mac as a free-to-play MMO with transactions. It’ll be an action-RPG/MMO mixture, featuring the comic book heroes of the Marvel universe. The story will have nine chapters with multiple locations, such as Asgard.

The PlayStation 4 will get a closed beta shortly, followed by the launch on the Xbox One and the PS4 later this spring. As the original game was a free-to-play title, we expect Omega to follow the same formula as well. (We don’t know about the PlayStation Plus requirements yet, though…)

A disappointment for the PC players: you won’t be able to transfer your purchases and progression to consoles, as it will be a spin-off…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
