Rainbow Six: Siege Delays Content To Focus On Issues

One season gets delayed by three (!) months, which means Hong Kong will have to wait.

This game is one of those Ubisoft titles that continue to receive new content and updates long into the game’s life. However, under Operation Health, the French company starts to address and resolve technological issues to make the game run fine in the future. On the other hand, the Hong Kong update with the operators, map, and weapons got pushed back by a quarter year.

What is Ubisoft repairing/improving in the game? Simplified matchmaking, server-based, dedicated voice communication and party system, faster servers, 3-steps deployment for new tech features (test server first, PC second, consoles last), and if something goes awry, the game can be rolled back to a previous state. Last but not least, the most reported bugs will be addressed as fast as possible for higher efficiency.

The Polish team will arrive during Seasons 3 and 4, but they get no map. Those who bought the second Season Pass, will they get some compensation?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
