PlatinumGames Teases New IP

A „formless, shapeless IP?”

In Kyoto, BitSummit was held, where Atsushi Inaba, one of the key personalities of PlatinumGames has teased a new project, about which we know that it would be led by a new director, and the team can’t wait to see how this person would grow during development, which could shed a positive light on the company as well.

However, Inaba doesn’t know yet whether PlatinumGames can have one major title launch each year, but they will try to do their best to amaze the fans. He also added that the unannounced project would get more information later.

A few days ago, we learned that Scalebound is alive, as Microsoft has renewed the trademark for the game. PlatinumGames could have taken the basic, original concept of Scalebound to make their unique iteration out of it. It might be a little extreme coincidence, but we’ll see.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
