The Witcher: The Series' Geralt Will Differ From The Game One

MOVIE NEWS – After CD Projekt RED‘s approach, the Netflix-series will have another different take on Geralt.

Tomasz Baginski was interviewed by Polish Inn Poland, where he was asked how much of a similarity will there be between the game adaptation of Geralt and the one that will drop on Netflix shortly. The question makes sense, as Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels had a quite different take on Geralt than what CD Projekt RED came up with in the games.

Baginski congratulated CD Projekt RED in his response, and he also pointed out that Sapkowski, who participates in the creation of the Netflix-series, has written his novels in a way that you could interpret it in multiple ways. It means that while there will be some similarities to the games, Geralt will follow a unique path down the road.

The series, produced by Polish company Platige Image, will likely increase the subscribers for Netflix.
