Do you want everything? It won’t be an easy task to get everything from the new loot boxes…

Desks_up did the math on Reddit to reveal how many credits you’d need to get everything from the Anniversary event, which is currently running. All 108 skins, sprays, emotes, and voice files would cost 56,745 credits. Do you think that doesn’t sound too much? Well, how about the fact that Overwatch veterans, who are over level 600 and have never spent a single credit, have roughly sixty thousand credits after a year of grinding. You read that correctly: after a year of gameplay, they barely have enough credits to get everything JUST from the Anniversary Event loot boxes.

For another comparison, let’s take a look into how many credits Blizzard would have required to get all boxes from a previous event: „maxing out” Year of the Rooster would have needed 37050 credits. According to JollyGirl, if you wanted to get everything from the current event and start from scratch with zero credits, you’d have to get 1380 credits every day by the end.

With this decision, Blizzard obviously wants to get more money out of us. Real money! Sure, there are free boxes as well, but they don’t cover all costs…
