Vanquish: The PC Port Is Far From Being Perfect [VIDEO]

SEGA and PlatinumGames have messed up big time.

Vanquish has a bigger system requirement on PC than Bayonetta, which is alright. However, what if someone has a beefy enough PC that could have higher frame rates than sixty frames per second? Death occurs. A lot.

On the NeoGAF forums, the shock came: Sam Gideon, the protagonist of Vanquish, dies easier on higher frame rates. If we make the game run on a 144 Hz monitor with settings that make it run at 144 frames per second, he simply dies easier than if we played on a PlayStation 3, which runs at thirty FPS at most. The higher the frame rate, the bigger the challenge is there. God Hard difficulty, where you die in two hits (if you are lucky), mixed with this bug = would you get a Game Over by wind blowing or what?

SEGA should address this issue and fast.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
