Idol Minds Becomes Deck Nine; A New Game For E3

A PlayStation 3 game’s developer team renamed itself.

They announced on their page that their previous name, Idol Minds, was thrown away, and now they are called Deck Nine. They previously made Pain, an early PlayStation 3 title which became one of the most popular PlayStation Store games. It was announced to get a free-to-play version at E3 2014, but that never came to fruition. The renaming happened to concentrate on narrative-driven titles.

Their new game, which is going to be a new addition to a „critically acclaimed franchise,” will be published by a „leading AAA video game publisher.” Its development will utilize the StoryForge development toolkit, which took three years to make, providing „unparalleled freedom” for the team’s writers, directors, and artist.

The announcement will happen at E3. Let’s hope that it will be a surprise.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
