[E3 2017] Horizon: Zero Dawn Gets An Expansion [VIDEO]

After the base game’s success, it was bound to happen, even though the announcement came earlier than we expected.

Guerrilla will take the heroine of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Aloy, to some snowy, icy fields in the DLC called The Frozen Wilds, which will also show us the fourth, unseen tribe as well. However, we would rather not go into the robot dinosaurs, as the developers might have fully hidden them from us. Aloy is heading into a mountain (a volcano?) to find answers, and those grumbling noises might be teasing a boss fight as well. The basic idea is exciting.

The Frozen Wilds DLC has no concrete release date yet, but Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4-exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn will get the expansion by the end of this year. Oh hi, Banuk.
