Rogue Trooper Redux: The First Gameplay Video, Out Of The Blue (Literally) [VIDEO]

The updated version of the 2006 TPS is now properly visible in a gameplay video.

Rebellion announced the update of the game in March, which was followed by a CGI trailer in May – by the middle of June, they put together a five-minute gameplay video with commentary provided by Rich May, one of the original programmers. Quoting May from the video, Rogue Trooper Redux features „up-to-date graphics and rendering techniques, parallax mapping, dynamic lights, dynamic shadows—everything you need to bring it up to date [and] make it look as good as the other games out there.

We’ve also tweaked the gameplay slightly with a few little additions to bring it up to date to modern standards.” (That shouldn’t mean the game is easier than before.)

Rogue Trooper Redux is out later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
