Diablo III‘s next expansion will be here in no time, but the price keeps the usual Blizzard levels.
The developers announced on the Battle.net blog that Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer Pack will launch on June 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC… although the price is somewhat hefty, as it is going to cost no less than fifteen dollars. Quoting its contents:
- Non-combat pet
- A pair of cosmetic wings
- New Necromancer-themed Banner Shape, Sigil, and Accent
- Necromancer Portrait Frame
- Two additional character slots
- Two additional stash tabs (PC-exclusive)
The 2.6.0 update also comes along with it, which contains: „Challenge Rifts, The Shrouded Moors zone, Temple of the Firstborn zone, and the Realms of Fate are all free content—if you own the Reaper of Souls expansion pack, they are available for play without any additional purchases.” There will be a one-hour maintenance, too. On consoles, it happens before the launch at 8 AM Pacific on consoles, and 10 AM on PC in North America. The Eternal Collection also got confirmed: the entire Diablo III experience will be available for 40 dollars on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as an introductory price before it will be lifted to 60. For the discount, a PlayStation Plus/Xbox Live Gold subscription is required!
