Farpoint’s Developer Explains How He Wants A Better PlayStation VR

After Gran Turismo’s father, Farpoint‘s developers’ founder talked about the future of PlayStation VR.

Seth Luisi, the founder of Impulse Gear, talked with Finder about how he would make the next PlayStation VR better than the first one if there will be a new version: „We do feel that controls and controller tracking are very important,” he said. “We can achieve a lot with the Aim controller, and I would love to see that taken further. So I would probably put Move 2.0 at the top. I think room-scale would come along just behind that. Having a wider field of view can make you feel more immersed in the world, and I think that will be a big focus [for Sony] going forward.”

Controls, the field of view, room scale – we can’t go against these ideas. Farpoint was the best-selling VR game in the United Kingdom when it launched in May, so Impulse Gear’s boss deserves mention. At least he didn’t go into resolution as much as Kazunori Yamauchi did.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
