After Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2 will also allow us to play together with three of our friends cooperatively.
The new game mode, which allows this possibility, is called Frontier Defense. Quoting the official description: „Built for 4 player co-op, you and your team are tasked with protecting the Harvester through multiple waves of coordinated enemies all hellbent on taking it down. Build your team, optimize your Titans and adapt your strategies to survive the mayhem with all new weapons, gear, and progression.”
Other new things will arrive, such as XP boost providing Frontier Titan Warpaints, and weapon buffing Elite Weapon Warpaints. A map from the first Titanfall, Rise, is also getting lifted over to the sequel.
Respawn’s approach (buy the game, then get all DLCs for free) is a good idea, and seeing how Titanfall 2 is available on PlayStation 4 as a multiplatform title, maybe it’s a good time to check out the game, which launched last autumn.
