Take-Two Is Working Together With Indie Developers!

Multiple AAA titles will be created by them under Take-Two‘s banner.

This publisher doesn’t launch many games – their only two annual releases are the NBA and the WWE series. Their CEO, Strauss Zelnick told GamesIndustry that it would be harmful to them to follow Ubisoft’s example and launch a game of Assassin’s Creed caliber every year. The backside of this decision is that they have years where they launch nothing outside of the two sports games.

„We have a number of titles that Michael Worosz’s group is developing with independent developers, which are intended to be AAA products. We are quiet about it because there isn’t much to say. They are in development, and we’ll bring those to market as and when.”

Zelnick already mentioned this indie program a year ago to GamesIndustry, which means that we should be hearing something regarding it in about a year. By then, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
