Sony and Guerrilla Games have announced the release date for the first major DLC of Horizon: Zero Dawn. The DLC will be available on November 7, 2017 players with a copy of Horizon Zero Dawn for PlayStation 4 will be able to extend the adventures of the Aloy with the release of The Frozen Wilds. The expansion will be available on the PlayStation Store for € 19.99, with a 10% discount for Plus members.
This new chapter of Aloy’s journey adds a new area to explore beyond the northern mountains, bordering lands of the Banuk that will challenge us with their extreme conditions so it will be hard to survive for those who dare to enter them. In this icy scenario hides a new threat and a mystery that Aloy wants to decipher.
In addition to a new area, The Frozen Wilds adds a new main story with side quests, new machines and new characters. So far, Guerrilla Games has not been very generous about the details of The Frozen Wilds, but the developer is expected to offer more information on the expansion as we get closer to its planned release on November 7.
In addition to working on paid content, Guerrilla Games has been offering support to Horizon Zero Dawn since its launch. In one of the latest updates (patch 1.30) was added the option New Match + and Ultra hard difficulty, as well as updated versions of existing weapons and suits with an additional modification slot.
