PewDiePie Apologized… But Is It Too Late? [VIDEO]

After his racist comments, Felix Kjellberg apologized.

Previously, we wrote about how PewDiePie called someone a „n_gger” during a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds stream. After this event, he made a video, where he said he has no excuses and that he is disappointed in himself, as he doesn’t seem to learn from his previous mistakes (previously, his anti-semitic content made Disney and YouTube terminate their partnership with him).

Sean Vanaman, one of the heads of Campo Santo, developers of Firewatch, told the other developers to stop working with PewDiePie. It resulted in Simogo asking him to delete his Year Walk videos.

However, fans had their „revenge” on Firewatch: on Steam, the recent reviews are quite negative. Quoting a few: „The developers seem to support censorship which I will not.”, „This is one of the most beautiful games. Short, but amazing. Pulls you in and keeps you intrigued from start to finish. However, negative review cause the developer is a whiny baby, filing DMCA takedowns over hurtful words.”

Vanaman told Buzzfeed that he „regrets” his actions…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
