PlayStation 4: Here’s The 4.74 Firmware… And A Bug!

Sony made a new system software update… aka the 4.74 firmware beta!

One firmware a month: in May, we got the 4.70 firmware, and since then, we got to 4.74. This one requires roughly 325 megabytes, and as usual, the patch note only says „This system software update improves the quality of the system performance,” so the usual deal.

But what about that bug that we mentioned in the title? According to WCCFTech, if you already have the beta of 5.00 and then downgrade to 4.74, you will encounter bugs, such as downloaded games on the 5.00 beta would not launch normally, and therefore, you’d have to download it again on the 4.74…

Sony already addressed the issue on the forums, and they are working on a new update for the 5.00 beta, but still, the issue is already present.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
