Metal Gear Illustrator has not left Kojima Productions

His work on Left Alive does not affect his position facing Death Stranding.

Yoji Shinkawa, the characteristic cover artist and conceptual art of Metal Gear, is part of the “Dream Team” behind Left Alive, the biggest surprise that Square Enix has left us with the Tokyo Game Show 2017. After this, some fans thought that the artist had left his post at Kojima Productions, where the mysterious Death Stranding is currently brewing. However, the company study of Hideo Kojima has denied on Twitter this possibility: “Of course, Yoji is still with us!”

For fans of the art of Yoji Shinkawa, this only means that they can enjoy their works by double entry. Left Alive, Square’s new and promising IP based on the Front Mission universe will hit PC and PlayStation 4 in 2018. Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s first blank canvas after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, has not revealed details of its release but will arrive first on PS4.
