Sony announced which games will be available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in October.
Did Sony manage to keep up the quality they seemingly started to go back to in the past months? Let the games answer the question. Thankfully, there are no major differences between the North American and the European regions like last time: PlayStation 4-owners get Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (!!!) and Amnesia: Collection. The latter title contains all three games (A Dark Descent, A Machine For Pigs, Justine). Not bad, a two-year-old AAA game from Konami.
PlayStation 3 owners get Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings, while the PlayStation Vita receives Hue (cross-buy with PlayStation 4) and Sky Force Anniversary (cross-buy with PlayStation 4 and PS3). In case you own a PlayStation VR, you can still get RIGS: Mechanized Combat League for free until November 7, and PlayLink’s That’s You! is also a freebie.
Not bad.
