Saturday Trailer Recap [VIDEO]

Another quick recap of multiple games.

Tim Schafer’s Psychonauts 2 reached the milestone of being playable. Double Fine celebrated it by showing some footage of the work in progress title, which should be out next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Rebellion made a 101 trailer for Rogue Trooper Redux. In it, we get a quick recap of the plot through game modes to the gameplay to get accustomed to the game’s world. It’s going to be out on October 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch (its Europe release date is uncertain at the moment!), and PC.

Street Fighter V is getting re-released. Street Fighter V Arcade Edition launches on January 16 on PlayStation 4 and PC for 40 dollars. In case you have the base game already, you will get a free update (new UI, new V-Triggers, but the cross-play will not be affected!).

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 made a trailer for two DLC characters (Dabra, Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed)). They will both be available from this autumn on PS4, X1, Switch, and PC.

Gran Turismo Sport received two trailers. The first one reveals all the circuits and layouts, while the second one goes nose deep into the six car classes. Polyphony’s PlayStation 4-exclusive game is available from October 17!

The 101 trailer approach was used by Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, too. Quoting the press release, „starring the charming yet deadly Orc, Bruz the Chopper, who gives viewers a comprehensive overview of everything you need to know about Middle-earth: Shadow of War, in preparation for the game’s launch on 10th October. From a recap of the original story and the iconic characters to the expansive open world and all of the new features, Bruz has it covered.”

After the successful Kickstarter last year, SadSquare Studios started working on Visage, which is openly inspired by Hideo Kojima/Guillermo del Toro/Norman Reedus’ canceled Silent Hills. Thanks to IGN, we now see twenty-two minutes of gameplay of it. The game should be available this year on PC…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
