November 14 will not see the game launch.
We already knew that L.A. Noire is getting re-released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Along the ports, there’s also a virtual reality component in development, which will be published by Take-Two, its publisher, at a later date. The company confirmed it in its latest financial earnings report. A quotation follows: „in December 2017, comes L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, featuring seven select cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for a virtual reality experience on the HTC Vive.”
Yes, you read that right: they just wrote December as a new release date. They should have set a day as well because let’s admit it: the developers should be getting a few days to spend with their families at the end of the year…
Oh, and one more thing from the report: next year, we can expect „a highly anticipated new title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises.” Borderlands or BioShock?
