Battlefield 2018: It’s Not Going To Be Bad Company 3 After All?

There are already tons of rumors regarding next year’s Battlefield game. World War II? Bad Company 3?

A Youtuber, AlmightyDaq, who previously leaked Battlefield 1’s existence before its announcement, talked in a video about DICE’s next game, which could be Bad Company 3 without loot boxes, with a Vietnam and Cold War setting, featuring support, engineer, assault, and recon classes and vehicles.

However, Eurogamer says that while DICE is planning something like Bad Company 3, it is not in development. On the other hand, AlmightyDaq talked about two studios. He thinks that DICE’s Swedish studio is working on a World War II-setting game (which will get a video as well shortly), while DICE Los Angeles is developing Bad Company 3 with a likely later release date. This team formerly made Electronic Arts’ Lord of the Rings games, as well as the Medal of Honor titles.

It looks like after 2016’s Battlefield going back to the first World War (which was followed by Call of Duty going to the second one this year), next year, Battlefield might follow CoD’s footsteps. What a weird world we live in…
