Soul Calibur VI: Sophitia Breakdown [VIDEO]

One of the first revealed characters got a breakdown.

Soul Calibur VI was announced just recently, but we already knew about its existence due to rumors (most of which became true). Now, Bandai Namco introduces one of the first characters via the help of the producer, Motohiro Okubo. Quoting the transcript (via Gematsu):

„[…] She’s from Athens and fights using a sword and shield. […] The way she fights is representative of Soulcalibur on the whole. She uses an orthodox style that anyone can control well. This makes her a highly recommended character, even for novices. […] She is younger than in Soulcalibur IV, and I hope that you’re all quite excited to check out what fate has in store for her in this edition of Soulcalibur. Sophitia and Mitsurugi were the first characters made during the game’s development. We then used that as a foundation and made decisions for the other characters such as their movement, visuals, etc., based on how they would fit with Sophitia and Mitsurugi. I do think that we were able to model them in a very beautiful way this time, with some cute charm as well. I’d like our fans to keep this in mind as they’re having fun playing the game.”

Soul Calibur VI will launch in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
