Overkill’s The Walking Dead discards microtransactions

The cosmetic objects will be found during the game, but there will be paid expansions.

The team behind Overkill’s The Walking Dead has confirmed that this cooperative action and survival video game discards the payment microtransactions; there will be cosmetic items, but it will not be necessary to pay for them because we will find them during the game and they will unlock by performing certain actions in the game itself.

“There won’t be microtransactions”, commented the producer of this video game based on the universe The Walking Dead. “You can find different appearances for the protagonists while you enjoy the game and you will unlock them immediately, so if you see someone with a cosmetic object, you will know he did something to achieve it, you will know that it is something special,” adds the creative.

This video game developed by the Payday authors will start with more than 45 weapons and about 200 objects to modify them. At this point, the authors of Overkill’s The Walking Dead will work on new content as a greater variety of characters that will come in the form of paid expansion.
