Sony Is Already Recruiting For The PlayStation 5!

The future cannot be stopped, and Sony thinks likewise.

PlayFront, a German publication, spotted that on LinkedIn, Sony has a job opening for the senior product manager post. We’re quoting one sentence from their listing which is relevant to our subject: „You will own the roadmap for next-generation PlayStation campaign.”

This job listing is another sign of Sony vigorously preparing for the next generation. This year, we have discussed the next PlayStation countless times from the possible backward compatibility to even the CEO of Sony saying it is now time for the next-gen hardware…

Of course, the next PlayStation (which might not even be called PlayStation 5!) hasn’t been announced yet, but seeing how John Kodera, the new head of PlayStation, said that the PlayStation 4 is entering its last life cycle, we may just be a few months (or, at worst, 1-1.5 years) away from Sony revealing their next console…
