Did Death Stranding Get Its Release Window?

A somewhat reliable source claims Hideo Kojima‘s next game isn’t far away from completion.

However, DualShockers claims that we shouldn’t put our hopes on Walmart Canada once again, even though they effectively leaked all significant E3 announcements, including RAGE 2 – and Bethesda even joked about them during their E3 press conference! The retailer listed a release date for Death Stranding, though.

June 30, which falls on a Sunday, is a placeholder date, though, but on Twitter, Walmart Canada casually claims that the „pre-order item will ship in June.” We wouldn’t rule out a June release window, though: the game has been in development for three years (as in December 2015, Hideo Kojima reformed Kojima Productions under Sony‘s wings, and Death Stranding was definitely in the works from that point), and Sony will skip E3 next year…

So even though June 30 is a Sunday, a June 2019 release window for Death Stranding isn’t impossible. Is this game going to be Sony‘s major game for the summer?
