We Might Have To Wait Two Years For The Next PlayStation And Xbox!

IDC’s analyst Lewis Ward thinks that the Xbox Scarlett (codename) and the „PlayStation 5” (unofficial name), the next-gen Microsoft and Sony console, respectively, would launch in 2021, but it might change.

„I’m not sure [when the next-gen consoles would launch]. My model currently projects both consoles will debut in 2021, a year later than many analysts seem to think. What happens to sales in 2019 will likely determine who is right, and narrow the launch window for next-gen consoles,” Ward said.

He also rules out a 2019 launch for the next-gen Sony console: „Why would Sony skip E3 and then launch a new console shortly afterwards that with little buildup? It ain’t gonna happen.” He, however, seems to have forgotten that Sony might have a replacement event planned.

Sony and Microsoft both work hard on their next hardware – the latter company openly hinted at it during E3 this year.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
