Xbox Scarlett Could Have Support for Virtual Reality, According to Analyst

The same source warns that Microsoft has not yet finished combing the market in search of new acquisitions.

Lewis Ward, the analyst at IDC, said in a recent interview with the specialized portal Gaming Bolt that Xbox Scarlett, as Microsoft‘s hypothetical new console is currently known, could have support for virtual reality devices. “It is very likely,” he told the aforementioned American media.

Lewis Ward, in addition, has exposed that Microsoft continues combing the market in search of new companies since, according to his words, those of Redmond still does not have an internal team base as big as they have from Sony and Nintendo. However, the rumours of acquisitions at Microsoft have not stopped.

The North American company wants to reinforce the appeal of its new generation console, but also the services such as Xbox Game Pass that seek to carry all devices.
