Although the original Reddit post has disappeared (which is suspicious), but the newest Mortal Kombat 11 rumours have surfaced on ResetEra again. Even a fansite, The Kombat Tether, has confirmed the leak, but then let’s look at the image (which shows some incomplete character icons – a few of them look quite a placeholder. Then we’ll write the character list.

Jax, Johnny Cage, Noob Saibot, Kitana, and the pre-order bonus Shao Kahn has no character icons. The entire list is as follows: Jacqui Briggs, Cetrion, Kano, Geras, Frost, Jax, Johnny Cage, D’Vorah, Baraka, Cassie Cage, Kung Lao, Kotal Kahn, Erron Black, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Raiden, Kollector, Kabal, Jade, Skarlet, Noob Saibot, Sonya, Kitana, Shao Khan, Shang Tsung, Mileena, Shinnok. This list only contains three new names (and where’s Kronika, the main villain?): Geras was previously discussed, but the same can’t be said about Cetrion and Kollector. The former might take a bit of natural/plant-like style, and we have no idea about the latter. (Plus there are nine empty spots, which are completely up for guessing…)

Mortal Kombat 11 is out on April 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
