Death Stranding Will Be Slightly Delayed!

Hideo Kojima will need more time than the initially planned timeframe to finish Death Stranding!

Kojima talked with J-Wave News about his mysterious video game. It turns out that Death Stranding is going to be an open-world title! So far, we could have only guessed about this subject, but the Japanese genius has outright confirmed it! The release date, which is unknown to us at the moment, was also brought up: Kojima said that the game had to be delayed, but „not by much.” Hmm. We wonder, how much delay was needed?

Best Buy listed Death Stranding in February with a 2019 release date, which we already suspected to happen. With Days Gone (April), The Last of Us Part II (October?), Ghost of Tsushima, and Death Stranding, Sony would thus have four major PlayStation 4-exclusives this year.

How much of a shocker would it be if Hideo Kojima released this game during the Sony E3 replacement event sometime in the summer? That would be amazing.
