Microsoft is Planning a New Fable game?

Despite the closure of the studio at the origin of the saga, Microsoft does not seem to have abandoned the idea of bringing back Fable.

In April 2016, the Lionhead studio highlighted the license of many people, but also the cancellation of the free game Fable Legends. If this new game is over, the role play is not in the first game released in 2004, it is actually nothing. Today, the rumors relayed by Eurogamer suggest the development of a new episode.

Generally, the site always has excellent sources so even if it is impossible to verify the information, it is a safe bet. Thus, we learn that a new Fable is indeed developing. This time it will be a role play in the world that will be centered on his scenario and his characters. Nothing to do with free-to-play canceled so …

Also, it’s the Games studio (Forza Horizon 1, 2 and 3) that are at the helm of fewer than 200 people on the project. Currently, development is just beginning as a manager. Of course, Microsoft did not want to comment on this rumor. It also appears that the desired developers are breaking out of Fable Legends’ assets after the closure of Lionhead.

So it’s a brand new Fable that is in preparation but it will probably have to be very patient before you can find out.
