Daymare 1998 was born as a remake of Resident Evil 2 but had to back down after the presentation of the Capcom project.

Daymare 1998 is a third-person survival horror that takes the player to an American city infested with undead. Originally created as a fan remake of Resident Evil 2, the game maintains the essence of action and horror games starring undead, and aspires to offer a true zombie survival experience.

No details have been offered yet about the premiere of the title on consoles, but it is likely that the date does not differ much from that of compatible. It remains to wait for news from its developers.
