Fallout Legacy Collection Is Not Fake!

Bethesda itself confirmed that Fallout Legacy Collection is a real thing.

Fallout Legacy Collection showed up on Amazon Germany. Let’s see the translated description of the product listing: „The full collection of all award-winning single-player games in the series! Return to the Wasteland with the Fallout 4 – Game of the Year Edition. It contains all the gameplay updates, graphic enhancements, the ability to download and play free mods on PCs and consoles, and all six official extensions. Welcome back to New Vegas! With Ultimate Edition, Bethesda Softworks is putting together the complete Fallout: New Vegas package. The main game with the four additions Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road will immerse you even deeper into the world of New Vegas.” The problem is that this description is not entirely true (it’s incomplete). Let’s see the box art, and then we’ll continue…

Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition – these games are missing from the description, and these are also part of the Fallout Legacy Collection along with Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. So, six games on one disc on PC. However, now comes a weird, unexplainable twist in the story.

„Fallout Legacy [Collection] will release in UK and Germany only,” Bethesda’s UK Twitter account wrote. So even though Bethesda officially confirmed that the 40-euro package is real, it will only be sold in two countries on PC. (Probably because they see a market for physical games still there…? We don’t know.)

Fallout Legacy Collection is out on October 25 on PC. The same day as The Outer Worlds…? (And let’s not talk about Fallout 76. Brotherhood of Steel, the PS2, Xbox game, isn’t part of the collection, but Bethesda said that it’s non-canonical.)
