Keith Boesky, president of EIDOS between 1997 and 1999, died

Keith Boesky was one of the biggest responsible for making Lara Croft famous worldwide.

The executive was president of EIDOS Interactive between 1997 and 1999 and popularized the Tomb Raider brand to enormous extremes.

Keith Boesky was one of the presidents who had EIDOS Interactive throughout its history as a video game company and precisely one of those most responsible for popularizing the Tomb Raider saga around the world in the late 90.

In fact, specifically, Boesky was president between 1997 and 1999 and is considered one of the main precursors of merchandising and licensing agreements around the figure of Lara Croft that helped popularize a series that had just begun at that time with the launch of the original Tomb Raider in 1996, its sequel Tomb Raider 2 in 1997 and the third installment, Tomb Raider 3 at the end of his term.

Boesky also was a director of many brands like Playdek, Scopley, Two Bit Circus or Riot Games.

Rest in peace!
