Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Is Problematic On One Console

Infinity Ward‘s new game, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (which isn’t sold in Russia on the PlayStation Store) isn’t perfect on one of the consoles.

„We are seeing a small number of Xbox One X players experience crashes with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. We are already working on a fix. Thanks for your patience and feedback. We will keep you posted,” Infinity Ward, the game’s developers, wrote the other day on Twitter. So the currently strongest console on the market is the one that is affected by the crashes. Since then, you can find a patch notes on Reddit, so hopefully, everyone can now play the newest Call of Duty, which on PC requires a constant Internet connection on Battle.net, meaning it cannot be played offline.

In case you still have problems, WindowsCentral offers a workaround, which isn’t exactly a workaround but more like a „state.” „Navigate to the game in My Games & Apps. Select the game with the Start button (Menu button) to open the context menu. Select Manage game & add-ons. Select Move all to shift the game and its DLC to another storage device. The files will begin moving, and will show up in your Queue in the Games and apps section,” the site says. If you have an external HDD, and you have this year’s Call of Duty installed there, then you might not be affected whatsoever. (But who knows? Maybe you are.)

We have also reviewed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (and we also used Xbox), and during our playtime, which included the completion of the campaign mode, as well as some multiplayer, we did not run into crashes. However, the world consists of more than us, so some of the readers might have experienced problems with the newest Infinity Ward game.
