Is Rockstar Teasing The Location Of Grand Theft Auto VI?

Grand Theft Auto VI – The Christmas gift card has a suspicious flag.

While the console market is slowing down big time (which makes sense: it’s common at the end of a console generation – the two consoles are widespread, and only a price cut would help more sales, but it’s unlikely to happen at this point, and even the successes of the Nintendo Switch can’t stop the decreasing market), as the crowd is waiting for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X (and maybe even the Xbox Series S?), and they might keep an eye on Rockstar, as they recently launched the PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2, so they can work on their next game, which could either be Bully 2 (as per rumours), or Grand Theft Auto VI.

The latter game got a lot of leaks and rumours, and who knows what is right and what is hoax, but now, Rockstar’s Christmas gift card looks suspicious, and it is hinting at the South American continent, which surfaced in the newest update’s trailer of Grand Theft Auto Online, featuring the South American continent (related to the real-money Diamond casino). In the image below, we see a Columbian flag. It ties to the rumours of the drug theme, plus it strengthens the potential South American location (which also was mentioned along with Vice City, Liberty City, and San Fierro).

Keep in mind that Grand Theft Auto VI isn’t even officially announced yet, but seeing how Take-Two, the owner of Rockstar, would love to cash in on the series (Grand Theft Auto V has over 100 million sales, plus its GTA Online component prints money, which is why both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are out of luck regarding single-player DLC…), it’s going to eventually happen on next-gen platforms.
