Is the creator of Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian leaving clues about his new game?

The always charismatic creative Fumito Ueda has published an enigmatic congratulation for the year 2020 that has just begun.

The genDESIGN guys are working on a new project for the future, but for now, we don’t have much information about it. Now the studio responsible for games like Shadow of the Colossus or The Last Guardian has released a Christmas greeting for January 1 that could be leaving clues about it.

The team commanded by the always interesting Fumito Ueda has sent an exciting message to congratulate the year that begins to the fans. ” Happy New Year! Thank you for the tremendous support you have given us during the past year,” can be read in the statement issued via Twitter. “We already have our sights set on having the beautiful year 2020 with all of you.”

The congratulations text has a background image that has unleashed all kinds of suspicions, and that some already attribute to the conceptual art of what their new videogame could be and even have begun to speculate on possible themes.

This summer we were talking about precisely the title in question. A game that, presumably and in instalments, should be launched on PlayStation 5, although the hobby of the studio is well known for waiting. In August we offered you some details about the new Fumito Ueda game.
