The movie Dragon Quest Your Story will arrive in the West through Netflix and you can put it on notice!

MOVIE NEWS – Japanese fans have been enjoying the film since last summer.

Some followers of the Dragon Quest saga have warned on social networks that the movie Dragon Quest: Your Story, which premiered in Japanese cinemas last August, has begun to appear in the Netflix catalogue of many Western countries. It is not yet available, though: if you access its corresponding file, you can only follow it up to be notified when it is available to view. For now, we will have to settle for reading the synopsis: “Luke follows in his father’s footsteps to rescue his mother from the evil bishop Ladja. His only hope is to find the celestial hero who wields the Sword of Heaven.” There are no clues about its release date on the platform, but it bears the Netflix exclusive icon so we assume it will be the only place where we can see it outside of Japan.

Interestingly, Dragon Quest: Your Story experienced a strange turn of events in its original premiere. Since the series enjoys a great reception among Japanese fans, it only took a few weeks to reach a million viewers. However, the plot hides a decision that was not liked by fans, so he ended up facing a wave of harsh criticism on the evaluation pages.

On the other hand, the Square Enix JRPG also go through a very interesting time. Today we noted that Dragon Quest XII is on its way, although until its launch we may see the odd game still pending to be announced. To this, we add other newly arrived ports and to be confirmed, so there is DQ for a while for the foreseeable future.
