Are you waiting for Bloodborne 2 for PlayStation 5?

A well-known filter has bad news for you: Bloodborne 2 is in the air while souls-like fans wait for Elden Ring.

Bloodborne has become on its own merits one of the most successful games in the PS4 catalog, so it is not surprising that, with PlayStation 5 on the way, many players wonder if there is a possibility that FromSoftware is working on a sequel. Omni, a well-known filter that has a good track record talking about the beloved Japanese study, has covered the issue in the Resetera forums, although his comments are not particularly encouraging.

“From [Software] works on multiple projects at the same time. At this moment, [Bloodborne 2] is not in development or planned to go into development. So in the event that a sequel to Bloodborne occurs, it will not pass soon “Omni explains. Of course, we recommend that you interpret this information with utmost caution, because even after guessing several predictions, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your words.

We remind you that the same filter made the Elden Ring world known before its announcement, among other things; and it is precisely the next souls-like in which FromSoftware works. It is not clear when it will go on sale, but it will have a semi-open world design of the most unusual, apparently inspired by the Shadow of the Colossus according to the same source. We are likely to know more about the game as we approach E3 2020.

For his part, Bloodborne continues to talk about today: fans continue to discover secret bosses and levels among the game’s archives, while director Hidetaka Miyazaki himself acknowledges that he would have liked to improve some points of the great video game. Will he get the opportunity to do it in a sequel? It seems that it depends rather on Sony , so we can only wait and see how events unfold.
