Is Prey VR the new of Bethesda and the Prey saga in the territory of virtual reality?

A leak could have brought Bethesda‘s plans forward with its new VR production.

It is neither the first time nor will it be the last: a store has unveiled a developer’s plans in advance. It has been a regular in this field, Bethesda, who have been able to squash the preview of the new virtual reality video game of the firm: Prey. For now, and as is also common in advertisements of this nature, there is no informal confirmation from the developers.

What is known is that the ShopTo website with the game has already disappeared, and that for now only an empty cover with the PS4 iconography had been seen. It would be foreseeable that the software would also adapt to virtual reality devices on PC, but it remains to be expected that Bethesda will specify what it has in mind for the VR walk through the space that awaits its followers.

Prey premiered in May 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The production, although it took the name of the early classic of the last generation of consoles, had nothing to do with such software. He was in charge of Arkane Studios and presented a science fiction adventure with touches of psychological terror and action that delighted studio fans after the Dishonored saga.

If anything, Bethesda’s move to bring Prey into virtual reality territory shouldn’t come as a surprise to many users: The firm has done VR ports regularly on its games in recent times, with examples like Doom VFR or Fallout 4 VR , so a port from Prey to virtual reality devices would make all the sense in the world.
