Games Montreal published the first signs of the video game, and a long time since other official clues about its development appeared on social networks, but we finally have it: Gotham Knights will be the new video game of the Batman universe, and will hit stores in 2021 and has been announced with a cinematic trailer and video gameplay.

In the first of the two videos, viewers of the DC FanDome have been able to discover a Gotham where Bruce Wayne has apparently passed away. “Now it’s up to the Batman family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline its cops, and bring fear to its criminals. You must evolve and be the new Knight of the Night to save Gotham from chaos “, – and expose those responsible. This first trailer also confirms the mysterious Court of Owls as villains.
“We are beyond excited to share with all of you a first look at our new open world third person action role-playing video game, Gotham Knights. This has been the fruit of years of hard work, and the passion that has gone into this project on our part is shown in every detail, “says Warner Bros. Games Montreal in a press release about an ambitious production that takes us back to a city that, at least for the moment, does not have its great protector.
But in their place will be four characters, each with their own abilities to master in solo or online co-op games for two users. In this way, we find Batgirl, an extraordinary fighter and hacker; Nightwing, a wise leader and master of dueling; Red Hood, endowed with great strength and a special talent with weapons; and Robin, the detective of the group, with a great intellect and great handling for the combats, something necessary to move around Gotham.
