Xbox Game Pass And EA Play Merge On Console And PC! [VIDEO]

EA Play joins the Xbox Game Pass, making the service almost irresistible considering the soon available Project xCloud!

In parallel with the announcement of the date and price of Xbox Series X, Microsoft has also confirmed that its Xbox Game Pass service will improve at the end of the year by adding all the content from EA Play, Electronic Arts‘ own subscription service, to its offer. In this way, the catalog of games to which Xbox and PC fans will have access will be much larger, with other advantages inherent to this service.

We are excited to make it easier for you to enjoy both subscriptions together.” – Electronic arts

Offering EA Play to Xbox Game Pass members contributes to our vision of connecting gamers to the games they love and with each other, wherever they want to play,” said Mike Blank, one of the heads of Electronic Arts. “After five years of offering subscription services to the Xbox community, we are excited to make it easier for them to enjoy both subscriptions together.

Without a specific date, by the end of the year subscribers to Xbox Game Pass on consoles and Xbox Game Pass on PC will have this new option available. It is not the only novelty that Microsoft’s service has recently launched, as a few weeks ago it was confirmed that the Project xCloud streaming game joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost, giving us the opportunity to enjoy any video game in the catalog of Game Pass on a wide variety of platforms, including mobile phones.

At Microsoft, they are totally focused on increasing the attractiveness of Xbox Game Pass, and just a few days ago their chief executive officer warned that they were focused on bringing more third party games to Xbox Game Pass. This new movement is only heading in that direction. Don’t forget either that EA Play debuted on Steam a few weeks ago, thus expanding its user base.
